A WELCOME TO OUR FACULTY COMMUNITY

Welcome, Research Methods Faculty Network

The CARMA PhD Development Initiative is becoming the new home of the Research Methods Faculty Network. We invite faculty to join PDI, connect with developing scholars, and help shape this growing research methods community.

Join Larry Williams and Lindsey Greco on Friday, October 23, to learn more.

OUR LAUNCH EVENT · FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23

Join us for the PDI launch.

Two conversations, one morning. All times Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).

10:30–11:45 AM EDT · PHD PREP PANEL

Presenting your Methods: OBHR Research

How do you present complex OB methods without letting the methods overwhelm the presentation? In this session, experienced OB scholars will share strategies for clearly communicating samples, measures, experimental and field designs, experience sampling, and multi-study research. Presenters will discuss how much methodological detail audiences need, what belongs on the main slides versus backup slides, and how to make the methods an integral part of the research story.

Panelists

  • Christopher Barnes · University of Washington
  • Janaki Gooty · University of North Carolina, Charlotte
  • Martin Kilduff · University College London

11:45 AM–12:30 PM EDT · PDI LAUNCH
